What is functional neurology?

Functional neurology is a brain-based approach to healthcare that uses neurological assessments and targeted therapies to improve brain function. We use non-invasive techniques like eye movement training, balance exercises, and coordination drills to restore optimal nervous system function without drugs or surgery.

How long does treatment take?

Most patients see meaningful improvements in 2-8 weeks or less. We start with an intensive 2-week neurological healing phase, followed by 2-6 weeks of spine and body healing, and then long-term maintenance as needed. Treatment timelines vary based on individual conditions and response to care.

What conditions do you treat?

We specialize in post-concussion syndrome, vertigo and dizziness, balance disorders, chronic pain, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mal de Debarquement, musculoskeletal pain, and performance optimization. If you have lingering symptoms that won't go away, we can likely help.

No. Our treatments are pain-free, non-invasive, and non-pharmaceutical. We use gentle techniques including eye movement training, body rotations, coordination exercises, electrical stimulation, and chiropractic adjustments tailored to your comfort level.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit includes a comprehensive neurological evaluation where we assess your vestibular system, eye movements, balance, coordination, and proprioception. We'll discuss your health history, symptoms, and goals, then create a customized treatment plan. Most initial consultations take 60-90 minutes.
